Svenska tatueringsmässan is a convention in Norrkoping Sweden. 20 minutes by train from where I am located and I could not miss the opportunity to go and check it out.
I had no expectations so when I got to the convention the surprise on how everything was set was very pleasant.
The place was in a park 30 minutes walking from the train station and I have enjoyed walking around and watching the peaceful Saturday morning.
When I walked in the hall, I suddenly sank in the same familiar atmosphere – buzzing sound of the tattoo machines of the artists, people walking around, quiet music.
I have seen all colors, shapes and sizes of tattoos and I was surprised to see that there are mainly traditional/old school, Japanese and a lot of new school tattoos. There was also several very interesting shops for accessories and several tattoo supplies vendors.
It was several hours of pleasure in watching different artists doing their magic and to see some of the most amazing big color tattoos.
I also had spotted several artists that I’d contact for interviews so stay tuned. Enjoy my photo session and excuse lack of skills as photographer – still learning.
